Focus is on the poor and disadvantaged members of our society, victims of family and substance abuse, the mentally challenged, physically impaired, and others whose lives are outside the mainstream. Education is also of interest.
The J. K. Mullen Foundation has given a total of $203,950 in grants in 2017. Recent awardees include Graland School, George Washington University, The Chanda plan Foundation, and Escuela De Guadalupe.
The J. K. Mullen Foundation was established in 1924 in Colorado. The foundation does not maintain a website. Please contact the foundation to verify eligibility prior to submission of a full application. Funds may be used for the following purposes:
No support for taxpayer-supported organizations. No grants to individuals.
Giving primarily is limited to non profit organizations in Colorado with emphasis on Arapahoe county.
Applications are to be submitted by June 1, annually.
Awards vary based on scope and size of project. Awards are up to $50,000. Most awards are less than $5,000.
