    Summary

    The Monsanto Fund supports FIRST Robotics teams in communities where Monsanto employees live and work to inspire and nurture students’ interest in science, technology, engineering, and math.

    The FIRST Robotics program supports FIRST Tech Challenge (FTC) and FIRST Robotics Competition (FRC) teams for 7th to 12th grade students. The FIRST Robotics program prioritizes teams that demonstrate diversity to maximize impact. Examples are female led teams, racially or gender diverse teams and simply economically diverse teams.

    • Teams that are not yet registered through FIRST as an official team

  • Eligibility Details

    Eligible applicants are School Districts or Organizations who hold a 501(c)(3) tax exempt status and have been operating as a 501(c)(3) for a minimum of two years.

    FRC Rookie Teams (first year FIRST teams), FRC Veteran Teams, and FTC Teams will be considered for funding.

    Deadline Details

    The deadline to submit applications was September 15, 2015. A similar deadline is anticipated annually.

    Award Details

    FRC Rookie Team grants are up to $6,000. FRC Veteran Team grants are up to $5,000.  FTC Team are up to $1,500. Awards will last for 1 year.
